Lavender, baby!

For as long as I can remember, my grandmother had lavender hair.  Not the roller set bouffant, but a white-white up-do with an unusual lavender tint, so wavy and soft it could’ve been whipped around on a paper cone like cotton candy.  Everything about her was pretty and I wanted to be in her vibe.  I’m sure she didn’t smell like lavender, but somehow I recall a faint hint of floral water…maybe rose.

I love floral waters.  I love, love, love to spray lavender or rose water on my face just before I put on make up or when I’m traveling.  Just as refreshing and handy to use on a road trip as on a stuffy airplane.  Once you use floral water, it’s hard to go without.  And why should you?  I mean, really.  Why should you?  It’s available everywhere or you can make it yourself.  You can find a fun recipe here.  http://tipnut.com/homemade-lavender-water-recipes/  Spray your little heart out, baby!

See you next year!
